XVI Sports was founded in March 2016. Magnus Tegel has more than 20 years of experience in sports marketing. The company focuses on media rights acquisition & sales. And associated services such as production & distribution, consulting and event management. Magnus Tegel has a proven track record and expertise in Olympic sports such as Athletics, Swimming, Tennis, Volleyball, Handball, Gymnastics, and Football.
XVI Sports work very closely and hands-on with our clients to find the balance between revenue and the need for visibility of the events, the sport, the athletes and the sponsors. XVI Sports recognizes that in the sports marketing echo system there is no “one fit all” model that can be applied, but that dedication, creativity and hard work always pays off. Magnus Tegel
Magnus played professional basketball in Sweden for 15 years. He has been working in the sport marketing industry for 23 years - with client management, sponsorship, and media distribution. In 1998, Magnus joined IEC in Sports as Head of New Business and remained with the agency up until 2016. At IEC in Sports, Magnus held a number of positions thru out the years, such as Head of Acquisition and Managing Director of the Americas. Magnus is based in Miami, USA. |

Viktor Johansson
Viktor has been working in the sports marketing industry for the past six years at Lagardére Sports. The focus has been on driving business in the space of digital development and increasing betting related revenues. On top of this, Viktor has been overseeing numerous territories in Europe with client management, event acquisitions and global media distribution.
